I was going to post this last night, but some things got in the way from preventing me to do so therefore we have an extra post this morning. That's not a bad thing, right guys? Carlos Gomez is off to a great start in 2014 season. He is truly a fan favorite on this Brewers team whose once again eleven games over .500 after Milwaukee has won three straight including last night's 5-2 victory over Pittsburgh. Gomez is currently hitting .290 with nine home runs and 21 runs driven in with a .369 OBP and .924 OPS. Also to his name is a suspension as he will be shortly for an altercation against these very Pirates in mid-April. Gomez is an enigma and now a cover boy as he graces Sports Illustrated cover this week. Very cool stuff for a guy people wondered two years ago if he had a role on this team.
