Challenge Power Rankings Week 11

Yes another season of The Challenge is upon us. Hard to believe this is their 25th season of it.  We are doing the rankings like we usually do starting from the worst making our way to the top.  We will rank them every Thursday. Preseason rankings will definitely change next week because we will know a lot more about the season.

10.) Cara Maria, LW 10.) - As we know this is probably curtains for Cara Maria. If she pulls it out in a wall climbing mission with a broken finger, I will be amazed. She milked her injury and situation in the most disappointing way possible. Cara might be the next Sarah or Paula where she gets close, but no cigar.

9.) Leroy, LW 8.) - Leroy avoided The Draw for pretty much the entire time until the final two missions leading up to the Final. He will now have to face CT. If Leroy ends up winning here, it will be a Villanova beating Georgetown-like upset.

8.) Devyn, LW 7.) - It is pretty incredible to see her in the final mission. Devyn admitted to the cameras if she went to The Draw, she would have been finished. Instead, she gets a Final appearance on her Challenge stat sheet which is incredible. (Also I spelled Devyn this whole season wrong because I am a goddamn buffoon and no help to all of you who have read this blog.)

7.) Johnny, LW 9.) - Another guy getting the fortunate bounce of avoiding The Draw for the entire tournament. How does this happen?  Is he just a nice guy that no one really feels threaten by therefore no one wants to send him in? I like Johnny, but he is in no way deserving of the final. I would have liked to see him challenged a little bit more.

6.) Theresa, LW 6.) - Easily, my breakout star of The Challenge on the female side of things. Sure, Cara Maria deserves some credit for her performance, but Theresa was always someone who would have one freakout, early exit and leave. She put all together for a good campaign.

5.) CT, LW 3.) - I didn't like to see CT campaign for himself especially when Bananas knew all along he was throwing CT into The Draw. I also didn't like CT playing the nice guy by telling Cara to pick him when he knows if it is him and Laurel, they are likely winning or coming damn close.

4.) Laurel, LW 2.) - What a fall from grace for BAWSE LADY LAUREL. Not a good couple of weeks for her. She completely mismanaged the situation with Cara Maria even though they are cool now if you check out social media. It is clear she doesn't have her head in the game. I expect her to win tonight, but man, she isn't the same player as she was to start the year.

3.) Johnny Bananas, LW 5.) - Michael Jordan of The Challenge is making his push towards the top. I don't know if Bananas has enough to make it through the entire Final, but he will contend for the title like he has so many times before. This is why we need Challenge stats though. I would love to know how many finals Bananas has been in.

2.) Nany, LW 4.) - First time this season, Laurel isn't the top female. Nany is gaining momentum, and I am starting to believe she could win this damn thing. She has enough smarts combined with the will to win. I could totally see it.

1.) Zach, LW 1.) -  I think this is his Challenge to lose honestly. Zach seems like the biggest, fastest and strongest player left in the game plus the idea of him being alone in the mountains seems to suit him well.

Challenge Power Rankings Week 10

Yes another season of The Challenge is upon us. Hard to believe this is their 25th season of it.  We are doing the rankings like we usually do starting from the worst making our way to the top.  We will rank them every Thursday. Preseason rankings will definitely change next week because we will know a lot more about the season.

10.) Cara Maria, LW 6.) -Until we know about the health of Cara Maria, she has to be at the bottom spot. It feels like she will be heading home before The Challenge gets started today. Total bummer for her as she is one of the better competitors this season.

9.) Johnny, LW 9.) - In the lost blog, I said Johnny Challenge or Roy Lee will find their way to the Final because there is no way, it will be CT-Johnny Bananas-Zach as one of those three will try to get rid of another.  Johnny has two episodes to hang on.

8.)  Leroy, LW 10.) - One of the easiest Challenge eliminations wins of the seasons with him eliminating Cohutta. I called his season 'disappointing' a couple weeks ago, and it wasn't the best one we have seen. Although he's been consistently good which I cannot hate him for honestly.

7.)  Deyvn, LW 7.) - If you are looking for a nominee to lose tonight, I think this might be Devyn's time if Cara Maria doesn't go home. I don't see her making it to the final.

6.) Theresa, LW 8.) - She won a Challenge this week avoiding Elimination and if Cara Maria gets eliminated before everything gets started,  she will survive again. The question is can she hold on if Laurel wins the final Challenge before the final mission?

5.) Johnny Bananas, LW 3.) - I am not doubting The King, but he could be in some trouble tonight. It appears like CT and Zach have a pretty friendly relationship forming a superteam like Hulk Hogan and Randy 'Macho Man' Savage.  Odds are they would want to get rid of Bananas.

4.) Nany, LW 4.) - She wins a Challenge, loses Cohutta but right now sits as the number two competitor. She really doesn't have an enemy and could easily take advantage of it. To me, Nany is the most safe.

3.) CT, LW 5.) - CHOO CHOO. The CT Train is starting to gain some momentum. It appears we will get a renewal of the CT and Bananas rivalry. He has turned into a complete headcase to one of the best Challenge players.

2.) Laurel, LW 1.) - Pegging BAWSE LADY LAUREL down a spot over the whole kerfuffle between her and Cara Maria. It was dumb to basically tell the one person in your corner to eff off. Not a great look. She will likely be on island regardless after this one.

1.) Zach, LW 2.) - First time as an individual has Zach taken the top spot on the Challenge Power Rankings. I haven't seen a better competitor in the Male group this season. Really impressive performance.

Challenge Power Rankings Week 9

Yes another season of The Challenge is upon us. Hard to believe this is their 25th season of it.  We are doing the rankings like we usually do starting from the worst making our way to the top.  We will rank them every Thursday. Preseason rankings will definitely change next week because we will know a lot more about the season.

Sooooo I don't know what happened but all of the writing I did for this blog post got deleted. There is even a comment complementing me on my good work so thanks for that one. This didn't feature much honestly just breaking down how weak Cohutta looked around Nany and Laurel taking the top spot back plus I think Zach will win this whole thing. Here are the ranking sans any thoughts.

12.)  Jessica, LW 13.) -
11.) Cohutta, LW 9.) -
10.)  Leroy, LW 10.) -
9.) Johnny, LW 12) -
8.) Theresa, LW 7.) -
7.)  Deyvn, LW 8.) -
6.) Cara Maria, LW 4.) -
5.) CT, LW 5.) -
4.) Nany, LW 6.) -
3.) Johnny Bananas, LW 1.) -
2.) Zach, LW 3.) -
1.) Laurel, LW 2.) -

Challenge Power Rankings Week 7

Yes another season of The Challenge is upon us. Hard to believe this is their 25th season of it.  We are doing the rankings like we usually do starting from the worst making our way to the top.  We will rank them every Thursday. Preseason rankings will definitely change next week because we will know a lot more about the season.

14.) Preston, Last Week: 16.) - Will this be the week where Preston leaves The Challenge? I think we are still one or two episodes away from it happening.

13.) Jessica, LW 9.) - Big time regression for Jessica in the last couple weeks, but I feel like it's justified because she sort of disappeared in the storylines in the last couple weeks plus she isn't really winning out there. I also think she might be out this week.

12.)  Johnny, LW 15) - Johnny had a big performance in the rolling challenge putting him in the top three, and maybe, he is finally getting comfortable here.  I honestly think he will have a great second campaign.

11.) Aneesa, LW 12.) - I know I ranked Aneesa low to start the year because I have some disdain for her, but she performed well in the elimination. LOVED her coming to Bawse Lady Laurel like a dog with its tail between its legs.

10.)  Leroy, LW 14.) - Why did Roy Lee make the push?  Because he played the game so damn well making me think he knows what he's doing out there. He basically laid down in a game where he assumed if Laurel won, he's going in The Draw. But then convinces Jordan to go in and take on Bananas is perfectly done.

9.) Cohutta, LW 10.) - He is probably too high on this list, but I don't really have a stop for him right now. He could easily be in the elimination tonight, or he is an outside contender for the final mission. No real in-between.

8.) Deyvn, LW 11.) - She is still playing the game like bawse.  She might have struggled in the actual Challenge, but she figured out a way to ensure Laurel wouldn't send her in. Pretty much gained immunity from the best player of the game, pretty good.

7.)  Theresa, LW 8.) - Personally, I think it is neck-and-neck between Theresa and Nany for the final mission. Both are good enough to get there. I rank Theresa lower because of the Laurel factor.

6.) Nany, LW 6.) - It seems like this will be a Nany episode tonight. I don't know if a freakout will follow her with this one, but usually, these kind of episodes tend to deliver in a big way. Nany still competing pretty hard.

5.) CT, LW 2.) - Adam and I had a discussion over email after The Challenge. He thinks CT is mailing in the season and getting by as 'The Cool Guy.'  My personal opinion is he doesn't want to make many waves and is ready to make a run soon. It starts this week.

4.) Cara Maria, LW 3.) - Second best female and I don't think it is very close. I also don't think it is due to having Laurel as her BFF. I mean it helps in the grand scheme of things, but she took down three draws plus nearly won last week.

3.) Zach, LW 4.) - He has become the second-best male. I wouldn't be surprised if Zach moves to the second spot next week. He is a really good player and starting to build some momentum. Very impressive victory last week.

2.) Laurel, LW 1.) - After me running my mouth, I have to put Laurel at two at least for this week. What Johnny did impressed me in the major way, but it is really about how Laurel responds without having a male influence. Personally, she is BAWSE LADY LAUREL so probably it will not affect at all, but I just need to see it one time.

1.) Johnny Bananas, LW 5.) - There is a reason we call him 'The Michael Jordan of The Challenge' and he proved it at Elimination. How can we retire his jersey at the end of his run. What a legend. Jordan swung at the king and he missed... Big time.

Challenge Power Rankings Week 6

Yes another season of The Challenge is upon us. Hard to believe this is their 25th season of it.  We are doing the rankings like we usually do starting from the worst making our way to the top.  We will rank them every Thursday. Preseason rankings will definitely change next week because we will know a lot more about the season.

16.) Preston, Last Week: 18.) - He might be there until the final eight which makes me sick.

15.) Johnny, LW 14) - He continues to do absolutely nothing. I think he is on the outs this week unless they really, really want to get rid of Jordan.

14.) Leroy, LW 12.) - The way he spelled 'disguise' might have been the worst thing ever in a Challenge. That was Brad bad. I think it was the worst one so far.

13.) Jonna, LW 13.) - I couldn't believe what she said about Russia. No one cares about them? Have you seen what happened in Ukraine or nah?

12.)  Aneesa, LW 15.) - Nice jump for her because she seems to be forgotten again due to the new Theresa-Laurel-Devyn feud which could keep her in the house longer than expected.

11.) Deyvn, LW 16.) - Biggest run for her in the last couple weeks. She made a slight move last week and then this week, she continues with Laurel plus winning the Spelling Challenge. Deyvn played this game so damn right.

10.)  Cohutta, LW 9.) - Not much from him this week. We talked about the last couple weeks, but Cohutta is lying the weeds for making the final. He might not make it, but I wouldn't be shocked if he is there.

9.) Jessica, LW 8.) - She disappeared sort of in the past couple weeks after becoming one of the stars of the show. Is it because Jessica realized how close to the sun she was after trying to get involved in

8.) Theresa, LW 10.) - Honestly, she is probably has a better shot at making the final more so than Nany, but it's quite a season thus far for Theresa. She really doesn't take advantage like this, but BAWSE LADY LAUREL has her on the kill list so... Might be in trouble.

7.) Jordan, LW 2.) - What gives for the big fall?  I think he's running out of options and friends. It seems like he will be heading to elimination unless he wins the competition. The only saving grace might be Johnny from Portland still here without doing anything.

6.) Nany, LW 7.) - I am pretty sure it is in Nany's contract she needs to make out with one women before it's all said and done. I'm also pretty sure this isn't the first time Aneesa and her made out. I don't hate it.

5.)  Johnny Bananas, LW 5.) - I wanted to throw Bananas into the top four, but right now, Zach has a little more momentum than JB. But doesn't feel like he's controlling the game making everyone turn on Jordan?

4.) Zach, LW 6.) - He made a slight push by dominating the trivia challenge, and he sent Jordan into elimination. Zach will end up being there at the end because I don't know if anyone is beating him in elimination. Calling his brain a part of his muscle group was such a hardo thing to say though.

3.) Cara Maria, LW 4.) - I did think this was a strong year for women of The Challenge, but I didn't think the second strongest women would be Cara Maria. She's been great this year and a true contender for the final group. Although the fact she didn't know what a continent was is pretty bad as well as thinking Ghandi is a boxer.

2.)  CT, LW 3.) -  He moves back to the two spot after the classic line to Jordan where he says, 'You should sign a release, Jordan so CT can punch your head in.' Perfect line from CT, needed it, wanted it. Hopefully, we see a big push.

1.) -Laurel, LW 1.) - Big week for us here in the Challenge Power Rankings game as Laurel follows me on Twitter now. BAWSE LADY LAUREL obviously gets it. Also you cannot rank her lower than one when she's following the Tap on Twitter. Facts are facts. Also when you pull some Game of Thrones-type shit with a kill list, you're a clear number one.

Challenge Power Rankings Week 5

Yes another season of The Challenge is upon us. Hard to believe this is their 25th season of it.  We are doing the rankings like we usually do starting from the worst making our way to the top.  We will rank them every Thursday. Preseason rankings will definitely change next week because we will know a lot more about the season.

18.) Preston, Last Week: 19.) - I really love how the MTV producers are trying to build up Preston's profile for us smart viewers whom know he is here just to cash a check despite what he does during The Challenge.

17.)  Swift, LW 15.) - He is down here because it has been an underwhelming rookie campaign. I am shocked he hasn't been put in elimination yet. It seemed like he had the rope challenge and then completely choked.

16.)  Deyvn, Last Week 20.) - HEY!  She actually did something!  I loved how Deyvn ratted out Theresa to BAWSE LADY LAUREL letting her know why she voted her in.  I also loved how Lauren acted like a queen on Game of Thrones saying how 'she will take that into consideration' like she is set to execute everyone.

15.) Aneesa, LW 17.) - I really wanted to see an Aneesa-Laurel elimination challenge especially in that mission. It would have been so damn good. I think that's evidence that The Draw isn't set up.

14.) Johnny, LW 12) - Easily, the most disappointing season so far. I expected him to be a top seven player by this point. He has brought nothing to the table.  Maybe it is the rookie nerves.

13.) Jonna, LW 16.) - Truly impressed with her ability to handle the ropes challenge. It didn't seem like something she would be good at

12.) Leroy, LW 13.) -  I am going to knock him up a line even though he is likely screwed by betraying Laurel for no real reason. I am just happy Roy Lee showed some balls out there. They have been missing this season.

11.) Camila, LW 10.)  - I don't know what's happened to Camila. She really had a strong start to the season but trailed off in the past couple of weeks. It is like a college football team whom feasts off cupcakes early on and then loses during the middle part of the schedule.

10.) Theresa, LW 14.) - POWER MOVE CITY POPULATION: THERESA. Loved her taking a swing at the Queen but you know the saying... "If you take a swing at the king, you better not miss."  Guess what, she missed and Bawse Lady Laurel found out leading to her likely demise but nice to see her half-assed attempt at playing the game

9.) Cohutta, LW 11.) - He only got put in the top ten for his comment about 'taking advice from a Wet Banana' was pretty pure. Loved that one.

8.) Jessica, LW 7.)  - First real episode where we did not really have a Jessica moment.  I have to say I enjoyed the episode much more because of it. I really think she might be gone this episode but what the hell do I know.

7.) Nany, LW 4.) - I loved how Nany thought she was headed to elimination and ready to scorch the earth after the first two voted for her then Nany faded away after it became about Laurel.  She isn't winning missions right now so I don't know where her bravado is coming from these days.

6.) Zach, LW 6.) - Pretty standard day from Zach although he got bitched out by Laurel which was tremendous. I am not sure Zach is safe right now. He wins on strength and scary though.

5.) Johnny Bananas, LW 8.) - The Michael Jordan of Challenges showed why he is MJ. Cara Maria sends him in along with some friends including Jordan leading to JB having a classic speech. Bananas told Jordan he would 'rip his head off.'  We officially birthed the Jordan-Johnny rivalry. It will be great to see how the rest transpires.

4.) Cara Maria, LW 5.) - Who could believe she is one of the top players in the game?  Cara is leaps and bounds where she was as player when first on these Challenges. Cara Maria is nothing to screw with and could win the whole damn thing.

3.) CT, LW 2.) - I wanted to see a Gulag repeat of Johnny Bananas vs. CT in the Elimination mission. It would have been awesome. We need a little bit more from CT though

2.) Jordan, LW 3.) - You know how he is really playing the game right now?  He is not really doing many great things in the Challenges yet Jordan has the entire game by his string. Could he be sent home tonight? No question about it.

1.) -Laurel, LW 1.) - There is a reason you don't test BAWSE LADY LAUREL and the elimination was why. I look forward to her redemption tour.

Charlie.

The Challenge Power Rankings Week 4

Yes another season of The Challenge is upon us. Hard to believe this is their 25th season of it.  We are doing the rankings like we usually do starting from the worst making our way to the top.  We will rank them every Thursday. Preseason rankings will definitely change next week because we will know a lot more about the season.

20.) Deyvn, Last Week 20.) - Why is she here? Serious question.

19.) Preston, LW: 22.) - Yes he did move up because of his performance. Producers set up pretty nicely for him to look like LeBron James out there.

18.) Issac, LW 14.) - What a piss poor effort from Issac. One of the worst we have seen all year. It is not based on performances to send people into an elimination, but Issac deserved to be there.

17.)  Aneesa, LW 21.) - Here's what going to happen this season at least for the short term. Aneesa is going to start building up an alliance against Laurel and Jordan. She still believes to have power which I don't know if she has still these days, but maybe I'm wrong. I know she will have backers.

16.)  Jonna, LW 17.) - This might be one of the number one people to join Aneesa's clan. Jonna already vowed revenge on Laurel when she came back from elimination so don't be surprised if Jonna is out in front with Aneesa.

15.) Swift, LW 19.) - Even though Brandon told Swift to not play the game, he did exactly the right thing by going with the group sending Brandon into the elimination round. Swift is now making small waves in the game where he could avoid the whole 'You're a rookie, you need to go in.'

14.) Theresa, LW 18.) - I don't why she is so high but Theresa is playing the game right by not making any ruckus. Theresa is silent which is perfect. I don't know which side she would choose, probably Aneesa.

13.) Leroy, LW 13.) - If Leroy keeps getting punked by Preston on Challenge missions, I will start calling him the Roy Hibbert of Challenges.

12.) Johnny, LW 12) - Another quiet week for Johnny. I kind of expected him to be a loud, brash personality in a lot of ways like Jordan. I assume he will have his Portland's brother's back in the newfound rivalry.

11.) Cohutta, LW 11.) - Does anyone really hate Cohutta?  Will he just end up in the final mission because no one really wants to send him in?

10.) Camila, LW 4.) -  Pretty big fall off for Camila, but I really haven't seen her do much this season besides her one freakout. Is she lying in the weeds a bit?  Yes.  I think she is another one that can turn on Laurel due to clashing personalities.

9.)  Jasmine, LW 6.) - The action from her came in the Aftershow. I didn't watch because I have a life or I would like to think so but I saw the highlights of Nia and Jasmine going at each other raising their voices at each other. We need a little more fight from Jazzy in the actual Challenge.

8.) Johnny Bananas, LW 7.) - I am a big Bananas fan, I think we all know that, but he had some true nerve saying 'How wrong Jordan was for yelling at women.' Johnny Bananas yelled at women at The Island in one of the most memorable Challenge seasons ever. He is no saint and really shouldn't act like one.

7.) Jessica, LW 8.) - Sometimes things carry over from Real World or previous Challenge seasons, Jordan and Jessica's distaste for each other hit another high point with their argument as Jessica attempted to play both sides and manipulate the game. Look for Jessica to be one of the targets for the chopping block tonight.

6.) Zach, LW 10.) - For the first time in the Challenge, Zach finally showed his strength. He ended up in the Draw where he eviscerated Brandon showing why he is one of the top contender to win the whole damn thing. Also, be on the lookout for a little tussle between Issac and Zach. That feels like it's boiling.

5.) Cara Maria, LW 9.) - Third straight elimination win for Cara Maria. She is building some momentum in this game. I don't think anyone is going to put up for elimination and could be the strongest female next to Laurel.

4.) Nany, LW 3.) - At this point, it seems like we are heading towards whether people will join Jordan and Laurel or they will go against them. I don't know with Nany.  She wants to be everyone's friend, and I could see her taking issue with Laurel given how strong of a personality both women are in this game.

3.) Jordan, LW 5.) - This is going to do end badly for Jordan. He will remain in the top five because he is an integral part to the story, but the power couple of Laurel and him are making no friends at this point. People will want to end this alliance before it grows legs.

2.) CT, LW 2.) - He did not have much involvement with this episode except dominating the mission with the Holy Trinity of teammates with him, Laurel and Johnny Bananas all on the same roster.  CT remains the top male until further notice.

1.) -Laurel, LW 1.) -  One of the more interesting things about The Challenge right now is Laurel actually has a male to fight for which makes her strategy really interesting. She has really always been a 'Free Agent' per say, and now she has to protect herself plus Jordan.

The Challenge Power Rankings Week 3

Yes another season of The Challenge is upon us. Hard to believe this is their 25th season of it.  We are doing the rankings like we usually do starting from the worst making our way to the top.  We will rank them every Thursday. Preseason rankings will definitely change next week because we will know a lot more about the season.

22.) Preston, Last Week: 24.) - I have no idea why Preston still gets surprised when he is picked last every damn time in these missions. He knows why he is here... $$$$$$$$$.

21.) Aneesa, LW 22.) - She is taking issue with Laurel during the mission?  Why exactly? Aneesa is nowhere near the player Laurel been for her entire time. What a joke.

20.) Deyvn, LW 23.) - Wish I have something to add about Deyvn, but there is not really much to say with her this episode.

19.)  Swift, LW 18.)  - I forget if he is rookie or not, but talk about a guy skating away from the same sort of criticism of being the 'new guy.' I have a feeling this week might spell the end for Swift.

18.) Theresa, LW 19.) - I am waiting for the episode where she goes crazy because it is happening at some point. She is lying in the weeds right now, but Theresa always has one good episode in her.

17.)  Jonna, LW 16.) -  I am kind of surprised she didn't try to talk Jordan out of not competing in The Challenge last week. She would have easily been the most vulnerable player especially in that mission, but she survived this week.

16.)  LaToya, LW 20.) - LaToya and Brandon Show has huge potential. I think we are going somewhere good with this one. I would watch this after The Real World instead of an aftershow.  I didn't know much about her to start the season, but I really like what she brings to the season.

15.) Brandon, LW 21.) - STARTED FROM THE BOTTOM, NOW WE HERE. Brandon began the season ranked 29 out of 30, and he has made a push. Brandon played a part in winning a Challenge which is a damn near first for him. Brandon also did the thing with LaToya which is pretty funny. Maybe all he needed was a season without a team?

14.) Issac, LW 17.) - I have decided I need to have a wolfpack featuring CT, Issac and Cohutta. That seems like a good time. Cohutta balances what CT and Issac bring to the table. He is one I think might not be safe tonight.

13.) Leroy, LW 8.) - It has been a disappointing season for Roy Lee thus far. He didn't really help finishing second in the mission as he was behind Issac, and has not been a factor yet in anything going on with this season. This is pretty disappointing given how he has been so involved with other seasons. This can definitely change though, but I don't think he is safe.

12.) Johnny, LW 14.) - So much for Johnny Challenge not doing anything scandalous for his sorta girlfriend. He did a nice striptease routine for Nany and sealed with a kiss. He escaped elimination by 'no one pulling the draw card' (Producers went.... PSSSHHHH HEY GUYS THE DRAW CARD IS THAT ONE SO DON'T FLIP, OKAY?!?!?!).  We will see if he goes back in today.

11.) Cohutta, LW 13.) - I try to figure out how Cohutta wheels, but then I realize he is soft-spoken with an accent include his laid back nature, it all makes sense. Cohutta has become a part of the story, and I see him lasting quite a long time.

10.) Zach, LW 7.) - Like Roy Lee, I am waiting for Zach to get involved with this season. He had a nice strategy that ended up not working for them, but that's about it. No real thoughts about Frank departure, I don't know, he's been a bummer.

9.) Cara Maria, LW 12.) - What a fight from her. Think about the girl who was in Rivals with Laurel where she basically gave up multiple missions, got criticized to holy hell and now is probably one of the biggest contenders in the game.

8.) Jessica, LW 10.) - Anyone notice she was once again a part of a winning team or a near winning team?  She has been excellent thus far. I might have been critical of her attitude and who she is, but strong performer thus far.

7.) Johnny Bananas, LW 11.) - Once again, when I doubt the Michael Jordan of Challenges, he comes up with a win in The Challenge plus some good Johnny moments. It is not surprising he hates Jordan given his ego and basically being a mini Bananas. Also I forget why he has issues with Cara Maria, but he was the only one cheering against her in elimination.

6.) Jasmine, LW 9.)  - Breakout season for her. I honestly don't even think we will get one of those freakout moments from her. It might be a little too much for her to be a stripper and in a naughty schoolgirl outfit for a second episode, but whatever she's living it.

5.) Jordan, LW 3.) - Yeah that was a try hard move from him, but he doesn't want to let down Laurel. Trust me, he will do some funny things to impress her because she is Laurel. I love that this is a relationship in the house.

4.) Camila, LW 6.) - Never thought I would see the day where Camila is openly and actively playing the game. She figured out a lot from her trip to the final mission with Jemmye last season. I still expect her to freakout at least one more time if we are lucky, but she is a true threat.

3.) Nany, LW 4.) - How has she made an ascent to a top three player? Easy, she seems to be everyone's friend in the house, both guys and girls. I don't really think Nany will be there at the end, but right now, she is playing the game at a high level.

2.) CT, LW 1.) - If you are Johnny Challenge, how terrified are you to see CT in The Draw.  I would be so nervous. Imagine doing 'Looper' with CT, it would be an absolute bloodbath.

1.) -Laurel, LW 2.) - Back to the top spot as she continues to be one of the best, finishing second in this mission and hooking up with Jordan.

Challenge Power Rankings Week 2

Yes another season of The Challenge is upon us. Hard to believe this is their 25th season of it.  We are doing the rankings like we usually do starting from the worst making our way to the top.  We will rank them every Thursday. Preseason rankings will definitely change next week because we will know a lot more about the season.

24.) Preston, Last Week: 26.)  - Oh hey, Preston. You are still here?  Oh that's cool I guess. I did find
Johnny giving him breakfast in bed due to a lost bet was hilarious.

23.) Deyvn, LW 23.) - I actually became a big fan of Deyvn in the last two Challenges she had been featured in, but I don't know, it just doesn't feel like she fits in with the Free Agent portion of things. She also adds little drama which doesn't help things either.

22.) Aneesa, LW 24.) - Here's my thing with Aneesa. She has been here for the longest time, but she doesn't do shit to stir the pot. Like at least Paula Walnuts would go apeshit giving us something to talk about.

21.)  Brandon, LW 25.) - This is the hardest part of these early recaps because there are way too many people. Brandon had couple funny lines about LaToya and Camila plus holding Camila back from killing Nany so he can get bumped up.

20.) LaToya, LW 18.) - Nothing really to write home about for the rookie this week. She did well with Brandon which is good and stayed out of getting into any arguments with the first super drunk night at the house.

19.) Theresa, LW 19.) - I am pretty sure she is from Wisconsin as I have seen her at various bars in Milwaukee yet she has a terrible voice. I am sorry. I try to be nice here, but her voice is not good whatsoever.

18.)  Swift, LW 21.) - It was only a matter time before Swift would make some moves with the women. Dude is completely jacked and nice enough to draw some attraction. Not surprised Jasmine made a move.

17.) Issac, LW 17.) - Pretty stunned in an episode that features a great deal of drinking, we did not see any real good Issac moments other than him talking about doing shots.

16.) Jonna, LW 22.) - I should first make an apology for ranking Emilee too high. I didn't realize she was not athletic as she appeared to be in the first couple weeks.  Jonna won and said she will 'make Laurel regret it' which is a bigger joke than my bank account.

15.) Nia, LW 11.) -  Am I disappointed with the start of Nia on The Challenge?  Yes, I am. I would love her to be heavily involved with the season, but right now, she is still feeling it out. I expect Nia to make a return to one of the top spots.

14.) Johnny, LW 14.) - Johnny Challenge is not doing much for me either yet. I swear these rookies watch tape as in they watch a couple other seasons. Like in old seasons, we would have rookies with a batshit moment and get sent home early. Johnny is lurking in the woods.

13.) Cohutta, LW 16.) - The old vet still has some new tricks. Apparently, the women find him attractive as he was all over Nany as well as a couple others. He also won the second challenge with Laurel. I might have slept on Cohutta.

12.) Cara Maria, LW 10.) - I am only putting her lower because some people had bigger weeks than Cara. She is still a contender for The Challenge. The ranking only reflects this week. Honestly, Cara did nothing for me.

11.) Johnny Bananas, LW 9.) - Is this the lowest we have seen Mr. Bananas in a Challenge Power Rankings? I am going to say yes without doing any sort of research. He really isn't a player right now with no team atmosphere and no inner circle.  Interesting to see if JB ends up getting on the chopping block earlier than expected.

10.) Jessica, LW 15.) - I might not like her, but it is clear, she will be a player this year at least for the beginning part of the season. She finished near the top in the second Challenge which led her to shout out her haters again. Jessica and Dustin hooked up throughout the episode leading Emilee with the killshot of the year saying "Jessica has as many brain cells as she does abs, none." That's lethal. Basically, what I am trying to say is Jessica will be a factor for this season. It really does seem that way.

9.) Jasmine, LW 13.)  - I also am ready to make a claim that I think Jasmine is finally ready to take the next step in The Challenge. Sure, she is making the comments about 'wanting sex' and dancing on tabletops, but Jasmine does seemed dialed in on the actual Challenges. I think it is worth keeping an eye on.

8.) Leroy, LW 5.) - What a boring season so far from Roy Lee.  Maybe it's Adam's theory about him being too nice allowing for him not be involved with any of the shit. Roy Lee will rise again like a phoenix, but right now, he stays in the weeds.

7.) Zach, LW 3.) - What a surprise. All the girls are attracted to Zach. And then they realize what a psycho he is and gets all sorts of scared.  Happens every time. Another player that really hasn't done anything this season.

6.) Camila, LW 8.) - It is so early for a crazy Camila sequence, but we got one!  It was awesome. She expressed frustration at CT for bitching about 750 dollar bar tab, and then got into it with her best friend on the show, Nany. Next day in classic Camila form, Nany and Camila made up like the Yalta Conference.  A Nany-Camila steel cage match where they are no longer friends, a trick used in professional wrestling, would be tremendous theater. I would probably pay at least 100 dollars.

5.) Frank, LW 7.) - I agree with Adam saying there is a new look to Frank. I don't know what changed from him, but he acts completely normal. Frank hasn't tried to start shit with anyone nor is does he have some devious plan. Are we sure this isn't a ploy and old Frank will come back at some point in the show? I hope so.

4.) Nany, LW 6.) - Shout out to Nany. She tries to get involved with everybody's life. I didn't really understand this until this episode. Let's see, she cockblocked Dustin with Emilee because Jessica found him first, and Dustin is her friend (Friends don't CB other friends unless absolutely needed). She also got involved with CT and Camila's scuffle for no apparent reason leading to a screaming match. I need that kind of drama in my Challenge season so I thank Nany.

3.) Jordan, LW 4.) -  Could you imagine if Laurel and him get married and have kids? Do they become some of the best athletes of the next generation? This would be my dream. The next Aaron Rodgers is birthed by two MTV Challenge members. That would be fantastic.

2.) Laurel, LW 1.) - First, I loved how embarrassed Laurel was by the kiss from Jordan, thought it showed her normal side. Second, I loved how she won her first Challenge. It is only the beginning folks.

1.) CT, LW 2.) - I have to put CT at the number one spot. What a man of the people. He pays a 750 dollar bar tab, and yes he complained about it, but still he paid it. CT also made sure a fight with Camila didn't go further than the parking lot.
